Ylli Bodinaku was born on October 20^th,1953, in Tirana. On 12^th of May 1981, the Tirana Judicial District Court found him guilty of violating article refered to “Agitation and propaganda against the state” and sentenced him to 10 years in prison (combined sentence). He was released on amnesty on November 15^th, 1982. Ylli Bodinaku on July 2^nd, broke the wall of the German embassy with his truck.  He does not call himself a hero. But that is what the former German Foreign Minister Hans Dietrich Genscher called him on the evening of July 2^nd, 1990. Two weeks later he would be in southwestern Germany in the city of Mannheim as determined by the German authorities. There, the car mechanic craft opened the door to work at the well-known company MAZDA”. He lives in Sauk, Tirana where he manages his auro-service together with his sons.
